For all the beginners, where is the best place to learn about coding and, for that matter, anything related to getting started?

There are many free tutorials and articles available to learn PHP effectively. It would be better that you understand and apply everything you learn about PHP for improving your programming skills. And it is also important to have someone to help you with complex coding stuffs.

That's why I was looking for a tutorial, to be honest.  I don't really have a mentor, which is why I'm just moving slowly and trying to grasp one thing at a time as I feel my way, so to speak.
